Alejandro Garnacho Latest As Man United Confirm Injury Doubts

Manchester United are waiting for a verdict on Alejandro Garnacho’s injury as they prepare to travel to Spain for Thursday’s match against Real Betis.

The teenage winger suffered an injury in Sunday’s 0-0 draw against Southampton, though he did manage to play for a short period before leaving Old Trafford on crutches.

Called up to this month’s Argentina squad, reports in South America and Spain on Monday suggested he would miss the internationals but United are still yet to confirm the extent of the injury.

The club have also said that Anthony Martial and Marcel Sabitzer are doubts for this week’s Europa League second leg.

Martial has been suffering with a hip issue and has not featured since 1 February.
