Former Barcelona star Ronaldinho has sent a birthday wish to his ex-Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.
Brazilian football icon, Ronaldinho has sent a heartwarming message to Paris Saint Germain forward Lionel Messi on his 35th birthday. The Argentina forward, widely regarded as the best to ever play the game, turned 35 on June 24, 2022.
In a message posted on social media, Ronaldinho is looking forward to meeting his former teammate again as he wished him a happy birthday.
“Happy birthday Leo Messi, a big hug!!! Hope to see you soon brother,” he wrote.

Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho played together at Barcelona from 2004 to 2008, before the 2002 World Cup winner left for AC Milan.
The Argentine superstar left Barcelona last summer after 22 years at the Catalan giants.
The 35-year-old won his seventh Ballon d’Or in 2021 but had a tough first season in France, managing only six Ligue 1 goals as Paris Saint Germain were crowned champions.
Meanwhile, Ronaldinho, who won the Ballon d’Or twice retired in 2015.
