As reported by Daily Mail, the Buenos Aries outfit are keen on Suarez’s signature, and are willing to offer him a deal worth £4million-a-year.

The club’s president Jorge Brito recently disclosed that initial talks had already been done with Suarez.

Suarez fell down the pecking order at Atletico Madrid towards the end of the 2021/22 season, with Diego Simeone preferring the likes of Angel Correa, Antoine Griezmann, Joao Felix and Matheus Cunha upfront.
