Superstars Gerard Pique and Shakira were pictured together as they watched their son play baseball, days after they announced an end to their relationship.
Pop singer Shakira released a statement that she had split with the Barcelona defender after 11 years of their relationship.
SunSport reports that Shakira and Pique jetted to the Czech Republic where their son Milan participated in a baseball competition.
Although they were not spotted beside each other, they were seen at the same event, with reports claiming they are now trying to remain friends.
Shakira was captured the moment she smiled at the players and then Pique was seen strolling around.
According to El Periodico, despite announcing the split, they are trying to remain friends for the sake of their children Sasha and Milan.
Pique was alleged to have cheated, with the news making the rounds before the singer decided to call it quits.
A statement from Shakira’s publicist said as per Mirror…
“We regret to confirm that we are parting ways. For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.
“Thank you for your understanding.”
They first met in 2010 when Pique appeared in the music video for Shakira’s iconic World Cup song ‘Waka Waka’.
