Florentino Perez Meets With Vinicius Following Racism Incident

Vinicius Junior was once again involved in the thick of things during last night’s against Valencia. The forward was sent off by the referee after a series of assaults, one of which saw him slap one of the Valencia players.

Unsurprisingly, Vinicius became the target of Valencia supporters, who had made racist remarks against the Brazilian international, prompting the attacker to complain to the referee.

Vinicius was understandably frustrated with the incident, even stating to the referee, “I don’t want to play anymore.” Real Madrid were quick to condemn the act as well and have recently launched an official complaint to the Prosecutor’s Office.

PSG are attentive to the situation and would jump at any opportunity to sign the Brazilian international. The French outfit consider Vinicius as the ideal man to continue their new project, following the likely exit of Neymar and Lionel Messi this summer.

PSG were linked with a move for Vinicius a few years ago when Real Madrid were discussing the possibility of a potential swap between the Brazilian and his counterpart Neymar. But the Parisian outfit wanted Luka Modric to be included in the deal, which Real Madrid vehemently rejected.

But now PSG have once again entered the market for Vinicius and could make a move if the Brazilian is indeed serious about leaving Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season.

Real Madrid, though, have no desire to let go of their prized attacker and would do everything they can to keep him at the club. So it will be interesting to see what measures the club take in order to control Vinicius’ anger over his treatment in the Spanish league.
