INAKI BROTHERS ARRIVED IN GHANA AHEAD OF NATIONALITY SWITCH

Iñaki Williams and his brother Nico Williams have arrived in Ghana to complete their nationality switch.

Iñaki Williams and his younger brother, Nico Williams, have have arrived in Ghana ahead of their imminent nationality switch.

The Spain-born duo arrived on Monday to begin the process of changing their nationality ahead of the World Cup later this year.

According to top Ghanaian Sports Journalist Michael Oti Adjei, the pair will have a meeting with the Ghana Football Association before finalizing their switch.

Oti Adjei wrote on Twitter…

“Inaki Williams coming home with Nico tonight. Then one or two meetings. Then that Black Stars conversation will get really interesting. My guess is at least one Williams could become a Black Star after the holidays,”

The Williams brothers have been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association, who are beefing the Black Stars squad ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

Even though both players were born in Spain, their parents are from Ghana, making them eligible to play for the Black Stars.
