LEWANDOSKI SENDS JAW-DROPPER MESSAGE AMID LIVERPOOL TALK; ‘IT’S VERY POSSIBLE’.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Robert Lewandowski this summer.

In April it was reported that the Poland international had held talks with Liverpool about a stunning move to Anfield.

It’s no secret that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has a brilliant relationship with the Bayern Munich hitman, whom he managed at Borussia Dortmund for a number of years.

It remains to be seen if the 33-year-old is coming to the Premier League or not, but it does look very probable that he leaves the Allianz Arena.

Lewnadowski, speaking to Polish publication Via Sport Polska on Saturday, revealed that the 2-2 draw with Wolfsburg might’ve been his last-ever appearance for the German giants.

The striker, who’s out of contract next summer, said: “It’s very possible that this was my last game for Bayern. I cannot say that at 100%, but it may have been [my last game]. We want to find the best solution for me and for the club.”

WHO IS LEWANDOWSKI JOINING?

Unfortunately for Liverpool, though, all signs point to a summer switch to Barcelona.

Well, for now.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on Saturday night that the legendary marksman had his heart set on a move to Barcelona, not Anfield.

A Liverpool transfer would’ve been remarkable and even Alisson was singing the Pole’s praises in recent weeks.

And although a switch to Merseyside could still materialise, particularly given Lewandowski’s relationship with Klopp, it seems for the moment that the Camp Nou outfit are in the lead.
