Martinez started his soccer career in youth teams: Club Urquiza, Club Libertad & Newell’s Old Boys before joining Defensa y Justicia in 2018.

Then, he went to AFC Ajax, a Dutch football club, in 2019 & signed a four-year contract where he played until 2022.

For the 2022-23 season, Lisandro Martinez went to Manchester United for a transfer fee of €57.37 million.

Moreover, he has represented his homeland Argentina’s national football team, at different levels (U-20 and U-23) on international platforms.
