Liverpool Forward Roberto Firmino To Join Barcelona

Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has reportedly agreed to join Spanish giants Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.

The 31-year-old’s contract will expire at the end of the season and reports have strongly linked him to a move away from Anfield.

In his eight years at Liverpool, Firmino forged a formidable partnership with Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, which was considered one of the most dangerous attacking trios in the world.

According to MailOnline, Firmino has now reached an agreement with Barcelona which will see him move to Camp Nou as a free agent

FIRMINO IS CURRENTLY OUT INJURED HOWEVER KLOPP SAYS THE INJURY IS NOT TOO SERIOUS

“Unfortunately Bobby picked up a muscle issue a little bit,” the manager said, during his pre-Forest press conference.

“We will see how long that takes. It’s not too serious but he is definitely out for tomorrow and next week we have two more games, I would say they are impossible as well and then we will see. We have to take it day by day.”

In his eight seasons at Liverpool, Firmino has scored 109 goals in 360 appearances. He was won the Premierl league, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and many more accolates.

Liverpool golakeeper Alisson insist Firmino’s departure will be a huge loss for the club going foward.

“Bobby’s a really good friend of ours and someone who has a massive importance on this team. I really wish he could stay,” Alisson told Sky Sports.

Liverpool travel to West Ham on Wednesday as they continue with their late charge to finish in the top 4.
