REASONS WHY AUBAMEYANG ‘WILL GET HIS SALARY INCREASED’

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘will get his salary skyrocketed’ starting from the 2022/23 season, reports El Desmarque.

The Gabonese currently makes just €2m gross per year; he is not even among the 10 highest-paid Barcelona players right now.

The 32-year-old agreed on this wage cut for the club to be able to register him in January. Barca agreed to compensate for his ‘losses’ starting from the next season.

Aubameyang’s new wage will be €18m gross – this would make him one of the highest-paid players on the team alongside Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Frenkie de Jong and some others.

There is also an ‘exit option’ in Auba’s current deal with the Catalans, it is said. It could be triggered in 2023.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 13 goals and provided one assist for Barcelona so far.
