4-WORD TWEET BRUNO SENDS TO SHEARER AFTER NEWCASTLE WIN-‘BOSS’
Just when Newcastle United supporters couldn’t love Bruno Guimaraes any more, he goes and refers to Alan Shearer as ‘boss.
The Brazil international scored two goals today as Newcastle edged out Leicester City at St James’s Park.
Bruno’s second came in the 95th-minute as Eddie Howe’s troops nicked victory at the very death.
Shearer sent an instant tweet praising the former Lyon midfielder.
And here’s how the man himself responded.
Indeed, Shearer, being Newcastle’s greatest-ever player, is definitely the boss.
It’ll take a while before the Magpies’ support love Bruno even fractionally compared to the esteem Shearer is held in.
But this is certainly a magnificent start for the 24-year-old.
He has adapted to Premier League football as easy as anything and excitingly for the St James’s Park outfit, he’s only going to get so much better as time goes on.
To be scoring heroic doubles from midfield within months of arriving on Tyneside, well suffice to say there’s plenty more to come from Bruno.
