AC Milan superstar Kaka admits he’s shocked seeing Italy miss this year’s World Cup.
The defeat to North Macedonia last week in their playoff saw Italy miss the World Cup for two consecutive times.
Speaking to Rai, Kaka commented on Italy’s failure.
“I’m sorry that Italy are out, a World Cup without Italy is a shame but it’s an alarm for Italian football,” said the Brazilian.
He also said: “From the outside, I see Milan are coming back, same as Inter and Juventus, who are doing well in Italy and Europe. I don’t see all these problems from the outside, but there is always something to improve. I am optimistic about Italian football.”
