Agent: Jali Move To Saudi Arabia/UAE Could Be On The Card
- Jali to Saudi Arabia/UAE could be on the cards, says agent.
Andile Jali’s agent Mike Makaab has hinted the star might make a move to the Middle East after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns last month.
The 33-year-old midfielder is now a free agent and has been linked to Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in recent weeks. SuperSport United reportedly joined in the race to sign the former Bafana Bafana international but none of the teams appear to be winning.
Jali Could Make His Way To Saudi Arabia
Jali’s agent Mike Makaab told Gagasi FM’s Simtho Dladla that the star was doing his own preparations ahead of next season.
“You know when we speak about a specific player like Andile Jali, there is a lot of speculation in the media,” said Makaab.
“AJ and I were in touch today and he has started doing his own preparation before the pre-season. This is so that whoever signs him will get an AJ in the right frame of mind and the right physical condition,” he added
“I am hoping, really hoping that by next week we will have a clear indication of where his(Jali) next step leads.
“And don’t rule out another season with… Don’t rule out a move to the Middle East or to China.”
A few weeks ago, Pirates were favouites to bring back Jali. According to various reports, a deal between Pirates and the former KV Oostende midfielder was believed to be edging closer with the star reportedly turning down an offer from Wydad Casablanca.
On Wednesday, Jali also posted a tweet while training with a caption that read, “Next chapter, game on, it’s done”
