Arda Güler has suffered a muscle injury just hours after Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti declared the summer signing fit.
The Turkish midfielder, signed from Fenerbahçe this summer, is yet to make his bow for the Spanish giants.
Speaking earlier on Tuesday, Ancelotti said the teenager could finally feature when Madrid face Las Palmas on Wednesday.
“He’s fine and ready,” the Italian declared.
“He lacks rhythm and he has to get used to how we play, this is normal. He’s a huge talent.”
But a new injury has been announced just hours later, with COPE suggesting Güler could miss three weeks.
