BAFANA STRIKER LYLE FOSTER SET FOR BLOCKBUSTER BELGIUM DEAL
Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster is set for a blockbuster move to remain in Belgium next season after KVC Westerlo tabled a mouth-watering offer on a permanent deal.
On-loan Foster impressed by helping Westerlo clinch promotion to the Belgian top-flight with four goals alongside five assists to lift the First Division B title.
The 21-year-old striker has been on a season-long loan from Portuguese premier club Vitoria Guimaraes and is now set to compete in the Belgian top-flight after Westerlo spent six seasons in the second division.
According to sources close to the club, negotiations on a blockbuster permanent switch are close to being completed.
“Westerlo are keen to keep Lyle Foster permanently,” A source reveals to KickOff.
“The negotiations between Westerlo and Guimaraes are now at an advanced stage.
“It’s almost 80% done. Foster is also keen to stay in Belgium. He has been enjoying himself at Westerlo.”
