Reportedly, the Czech tennis player and Matejcek started dating shortly after her split with a singer, David Kraus, on July 2018.
Barbora’s boyfriend, Petr Matejcek, is an editor at Elle, a Czech magazine. He is also a fellow Czech born in Prague.
Matejcek went to Akademie Mode & Design München in Munich, Germany, after completing studies at Deutsche Schule Prag, UNYP University.
Beginning his career as an editor with Leko Media Group, he subsequently worked for Welt Online, Euro am Sonntag and Stern.

Strycova Is Adjusting To Motherhood
Strycova and Matejcek gave birth to their son, Vincent, in October 2021. He is a blond-haired and blue-eyed kid with many exquisite features.
Before Vincent, everything was planned for Strycova, who knew what was going to come. And now, with the kid, her plan changes frequently.
Strycova sets strict parameters and has been practicing three times a week. She devotes two hours to a session and does four hours of fitness work in the gym.
Albeit, the hardest part for the tennis mom is leaving Vincent three times a week when she heads to practice.
They don’t have a nanny for the kid. Luckily Strycova’s mother, Ilona, is a constant presence to reduce the stress.

Strycova was married to her ex-husband, Jakub Zahlava. Jakub is a former German professional tennis player and was also her coach.
Born in Plzen, Czechoslovakia, Zahlava is the cousin of Czech tennis player, Sandra Zahlavova.
Among the main draw of two ATP Tour level tournaments he played in, the German won the 2002 Wolfsburg Challenger tournament.
Barbora and Jakub got married in 2006. After nine years of marriage, they divorced in 2015.
