However, according to a fresh report from Mundo Deportivo, Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille have also entered the race to sign Zaha as a free agent in the summer.
The 30-year-old is a proven performer in the Premier League and has been pushing for a big move for some time now, which can come this summer as clubs like Arsenal and Chelsea are also keen, apart from Barcelona, with Marseille also now joining the hunt.
In the last three seasons, Zaha has scored 33 goals from 96 appearances across all competitions for Crystal Palace. Given that he would be available for free, he is certainly an appealing target for Barça.
But with competition for his services increasing, it remains to be seen if the newly-crowned La Liga champions pursue him with greater intent or look at other options such as Yannick Carrasco of Atletico Madrid, who is a player that Xavi admires.
