Bayern Munich Have Made Harry Kane Their Number-One Transfer Target
As reported by Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich will make Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane their number-one transfer target this summer in their hunt for a new number nine.
Die Rekordmeister have already held talks with the England captain’s family and management team ahead of a potential bid for the striker. It is believed that in order to tempt Tottenham into selling their prized asset, Bayern would need to part way with €100m.
With the 29-year-old preferring to remain in England, persuading Kane of a potential move to Bavaria had always looked difficult from a Bayern perspective.
However, after recent discussions, he has indicated towards the record champions that they are his favoured destination.
While Kane experienced a disappointing season with Tottenham, the club captain still found a way to shine with 32 goals and five assists in 49 games in all competitions.
This season he has broken two tremendous records, becoming Tottenham and England’s all-time top-scorers in what has been a remarkable career.
A move to Bayern would see Kane fight for a first career league title which is the only blemish against the Tottenham captain.
Any future move from Bayern for other potential options such as Randal Kolo Muani and Victor Osimhen is currently unlikely, as the German champions are prioritising the Englishman.
