Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen has confirmed Benjamin Pavard’s imminent move to Inter.

The France international turned down an improved contract to extend his stay with Thomas Tuchel’s side beyond this season.

Pavard is currently travelling to Milan ahead of finalising a reported €30m switch to last season’s Champions League finalists.

“Benjamin Pavard flew to Milan yesterday and will undergo a medical today,” said Dreesen.

“If he passes it, he will sign for Inter. He had four good years here.

“We’re looking for a replacement, but I won’t confirm or deny any names”

Pavard made 163 appearances during a five-season stay with Bayern in which he won 11 major honours including the 2020 Champions League.
