Chelsea Prepared To Accept £15 Million For Out-Of-Favour Winger
Chelsea are willing to allow Callum Hudson-Odoi to leave the club this summer and have placed a £15m valuation on the winger.
Hudson-Odoi has struggled to make an impact at Chelsea since an initial exciting emergence as a teenager and spent last season on loan at Bayer Leverkusen.
The 22-year-old made just seven Bundesliga starts for Leverkusen during a disappointing spell in Germany and has been informed that he is free to leave Chelsea.
He has made 126 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions and has been capped three times for England, but has not featured for the Three Lions since 2019 after struggling for fitness and favour at Stamford Bridge.
Several Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in Hudson-Odoi and the Nottingham Post are reporting that Nottingham Forest are among the clubs considering a move for the winger, who could be available for £15m.
Forest boss Steve Cooper worked with Hudson-Odoi with England, with the out-of-favour star part of the side that won the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017 under Cooper’s management.
Fulham and Lazio have also been named as suitors in recent weeks, with the latter under the management of former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
