Chelsea Winger Christian Pulisic Edges Closer To AC Milan
Christian Pulisic is closing in on a move to AC Milan with the Italian side close to agreeing a fee with Chelsea for the winger.
Pulisic is keen to leave Chelsea after struggling for form and favour last season and is edging closer to a move to Milan.
The Serie A side and Lyon have both made offers for the US international, though Pulisic has made clear that a move to Milan is his preferred destination.
Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Milan are close to reaching an agreement with Chelsea on a fee for Pulisic, after a second offer worth €22m (£18.7m) was submitted. Pulisic’s contract at Chelsea is set to expire next summer and negotiations over his exit are understood to be at the ‘final stages’.
The move to Milan will see Pulisic reunite with former Chelsea team-mate Ruben Loftus-Cheek, after the midfielder completed a transfer to the Serie A side last week.
Fikayo Tomori and Olivier Giroud are also members of the Milan squad after previously playing alongside Pulisic at Stamford Bridge.
Milan have made additions in wide areas a focus for the summer transfer window and are also working on a deal to sign Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze.
