Chelsea have reportedly joined numerous of clubs in tracking the situation of Leeds United winger Raphinha ahead of the summer transfer.
Chelsea are competing with the Spanish side Barcelona and their own EPL rival Liverpool, according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
He has stated that Chelsea did originally show interest in the Brazilian forward, but have now opted to be on ‘stand-by’ for his signature.
‘Barcelona are interested in Raphinha alongside Premier League clubs, including Liverpool (Chelsea wanted him, now on stand-by), Romano tweeted.
‘Barca already discussed about Raphinha with Deco. No talks yet with Leeds – as price depends on their PL (Premier League) future and potential buy-out clauses.’
