DAVID MOYES WEST HAM BOSS WANTS TO OVERTAKE ARSENAL FOR £75M TARGET.
West Ham United manager David Moyes wants to sign Arsenal target and Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that West Ham manager Moyes is a big fan of Ward-Prowse and is keen on adding him to his squad for next season and beyond.
The Sun had earlier reported that Ward-Prowse will cost £75 million in transfer fees.
The Daily Star reported last month that Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City all are keen on signing Ward-Prowse from Premier League rivals Southampton in the summer transfer window.
ARSENAL OR WEST HAM UNITED FOR SOUTHAMPTON’S JAMES WARD-PROWSE?
In our opinion, Arsenal would be more appealing than West Ham for Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse.
West Ham have shown big ambitions in recent seasons and had a fabulous run in the Europa League this campaign.
However, Arsenal are a global brand and could end up in the Premier League top four this season.
A move to Arsenal from Southampton would be a step-up for Ward-Prowse, who is 27 now and will surely want to spend the best years of his career at the top.
