Ajax have received a £15m offer from Fulham for defender Calvin Bassey.
Signed last summer from Rangers for a fee close to £20m, the Nigerian international endured a disappointing debut season in Amsterdam.
And the Athletic now report that he is the subject of a written bid from Fulham, which Ajax are yet to respond to.
Bassey has four years remaining on his deal and it is suggested that the club would be open to a sale.
Brighton have previously shown an interest in his services but it is unclear if they will submit a formal offer.
