- Jordyn Pamela Huitema is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a forward for National Women’s Soccer League club OL Reign and the Canada national team.
Jordyn Huitema’s parents, Roger and Julie Huitema encouraged their only daughter to play soccer from a young age. Jordyn hails from an athletic family, with every family member playing some sport.
Previously in her interview, Jordyn said she receives her competitive spirit from her brothers, Brody and Trent. Her father would be the one to train his three kids in soccer, having played the sport at the collegiate level.
Huitema gained stardom in 2019 as she joined the French club PSG and even won the division title with them in 2021. In 2022, Jordyn moved to the American club, OL Reign. She was part of the Canadian team that won gold in the 2020 Olympics.
Away from the soccer field, Jordyn was famous for being the partner of Bayern Munich player Alphonso Davies. The couple called it quits in May 2022 after five years of dating. Huitema has moved on with MLB star Julio Rodriguez.

Jordyn Huitema’s parents Roger, and Julie Huitema, are former athletes. She was raised in Chilliwack, British Columbia, alongside two older brothers.
During her heyday, her mother, Julie Huitema, was a competitive swimmer, and her father played collegiate football. Roger Huitema graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and has been working as Installation Manager at Starline Windows since 1998.
Her parents run a joint Twitter account which is no less than a fan page for Jordyn, sharing related about the young soccer star. Recently, the couple tweeted about reaching Australia for the Women’s World Cup and shared an appreciation post for the staff of Air Canada.
Since Jordyn was little, Roger would make her practice soccer alongside her two older brothers. She began playing the sport at four.
Previously, in a video for Concaf, Jordyn said if she didn’t love the sport, she wouldn’t have done it. She also added if it weren’t for the support of her family, she wouldn’t have had the energy to be highly involved in soccer.

Brody Huitema Is An Area Manager With Smart Haven
Her oldest brother, Brody Huitema, previously played soccer at Duke University. Born on October 31, 1995, Brody played as a forward for the team.
He played 56 games for Duke, scoring 15 goals and providing ten assists. In his final season in 2016, Brody was also named the team captain. He achieved ACC Academic Honor Roll for three consecutive years other than his senior year.
After graduating from Duke University, Brody worked as a Coordinator, Strategy, and Talent Manager at SBX Group. He joined Vivint, a smart home company, as a sales representative in 2018.
Brody was promoted to Sales Manager within a year but left his job at Vivint to join the security system provider Smart Haven.
Trent Huitema Is A Former Ice Hockey Player
Born on June 16, 1998, Trent Huitema played defense for Humboldt Broncos in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.
Standing at 6ft 7, Trent was part of the Yale Hockey Academy Elite15s and has played in British Columbia Hockey League for Surrey Eagles and Prince George Spruce Kings.
Currently, Trent works as a realtor for Pathway Executives Realty and specializes in Commercial and Residential Development and Agricultural and Acreage.
The two brothers have been seen attending several of their little sisters’ games and are certainly proud of her achievements at such a young age.
