Karim Adeyemi Hints At Possible Interest In Barcelona Move On Social Media
Barcelona have publicly declared that they are hoping to bring in a forward this summer, and President Joan Laporta has also admitted that one or two may have to leave. As was shown last summer, the latter may well be more difficult than the former, but they will not be short of players keen to join the club.
One of them may well be Karim Adeyemi. The Borussia Dortmund striker has been spotted on social media liking a post which involved him doing just that.
“The best possible Ansu Fati replacement is Ansu Fati is Karim Adeyemi,” was the tweet that Sport spotted the German striker liking.
He may well simply have been liking it as a complement, but given how well trained most players are on social media these days, Adeyemi is probably aware it would be picked up on.
The German international has 9 goals and 6 assists this season in 29 appearances, but averages a direct goal contribution just over once every 130 minutes. Adeyemi is a speed striker that thrives on his movement in behind the defence, and can play across the front three.
