KURT ZOUMA AS THE WEST HAM STAR SECURE AS DEFENDER FEARS FOR SAFE AFTER DEATH THREATS
Kurt Zouma has continued to receive death threats and hatemails as the West Ham United star is now under 24-hour guard
West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma is currently under 24-hour guard after reports claim he has been sent death threats.
The 27-year-old was charged to court after footage on social media appeared to show him slapping and kicking a cat and he pleaded guilty to two offences under the Animal Welfare Act.
He is now under 24/7 guard amid fears over his safety as it was alleged that the player has continued to receive death threats and hatemails.
Zouma could face up to six months after a video emerged showing him attacking the Bengal moggy.
Daily Star also report the brother of the former Chelsea star Yoan had shared the clip on Snapchat with laughing emojis and then his date saw it before cancelling their date and then raised the alarm.
Further reports have it that Zouma pleaded guilty to two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, while his brother admitted aiding, abetting and procuring him to commit a crime at Thames Magistrates’ Court, east London.
The Zouma brothers were later released on bail pending sentencing on June 1
Kurt Zouma had faced heavy backlash following the incident and was temporarily suspended by West Ham before being reinstated back into the team.
