LeBron James Instagram Story: ESPN’s 2024 NBA Mock Draft Projects Bronny James With The Hawks
Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, will become eligible for the NBA Draft in 2024. Currently a freshman at USC, the 18-year-old is expected to enter the draft next summer.
ESPN recently released their 2024 Mock Draft, created by Jeremy Woo and Jonathan Givony. This projects Bronny being selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 17th pick.
LeBron took notice of ESPN’s post on Instagram featuring Bronny’s potential selection by the Hawks and shared it on his own Instagram story.
Along with the post, LeBron added a caption that read: “Welllll ATL shawty, the #JamesGang will be pulling up!”
This playful comment indicates LeBron’s excitement about the possibility of his son joining the Hawks.
LeBron On Playing Professionally With His Eldest Bronny James
LeBron James has long expressed his desire to play alongside his sons. Particularly, he has shown a strong interest in teaming up with his firstborn, Bronny James, and his middle child, Bryce Maximus James.
He has made it clear that he wants both of them to reach the NBA, and given their promising trajectories, it seems highly likely that they will make it.
In a strategic move, LeBron even included a player option worth $51.40 million for the 2024-25 season.
LeBron’s plan to join Bronny’s team coincides with his projected NBA entry.
This option allows LeBron to potentially join his son’s team, and he recently dropped a significant hint regarding which team that might be.
LeBron’s retirement speculation caused a stir after the Nuggets series sweep.
However, his close friend Dwyane Wade has indicated that this decision is more of a mental hurdle than a physical one. Wade believes that LeBron is likely to return to the game.
Retirement could potentially hinder LeBron’s goal of playing alongside his son. Hence, fans are eagerly waiting to see what the future holds for the basketball superstar.
