So, it’s official. This year’s Champions League final will be a repeat of the 2018 clash in Kyiv, as Liverpool face Real Madrid in Paris.
Jürgen Klopp guided the Reds to a third Champions League final in five years with a 5-2 win over Villarreal on Tuesday night.
In Real Madrid’s case, the Spanish giants booked their place at the Stade de France in astonishing circumstances, scoring three goals in the 90th, 91st and 95th minute to leave Manchester City shellshocked.

The Champions League final takes place on Saturday 28th May, and as aforesaid, will be held in the Stade de France.
It means Liverpool have just six days to prepare, as their Premier League campaign ends with a clash against Wolves at Anfield on May 22nd.
For what it’s worth, Real Madrid’s La Liga campaign also ends on the same day, so both sides have equal amount of time to prepare.
The Champions League final will be shown on BT Sport, with kick-off commencing at 8pm.

The Stade de France holds 81,338 people, although only 52,000 of those seats will be made available to both sets of supporters and the general public.
Liverpool and Real Madrid will be given 20,000 tickets each to sell to their fans, including 5,000 free tickets according to The Times.
The remaining tickets will be given to commercial partners, broadcasters and hospitality, which is sure to upset supporters from both sides.
Nevertheless, it is set to be an incredible game, and anybody lucky enough to get a ticket should feel immensely excited.
