Man United, Liverpool And Real Interested In Signing Benjamin Pavard
Kicker reports that Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool have entered the race for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard.
All three clubs have enquired about the availability of Pavard this summer.
The other teams previously interested in Pavard are Inter Milan who had previously made an offer for the 27-year-old, while Barcelona have sustained their interest.
Pavard is set to make his decision at the end of the season. The plans of Thomas Tuchel will play a big role in the 27-year-old’s decision. Pavard’s contract expires in 2024 and if he wishes to leave the club, then Bayern will need to sell him this summer to recoup any of the €35m they paid VfB Stuttgart in 2019.
The defender has been one of Bayern’s best players in a poor end-of-season for the club. Pavard has found himself playing his more favourable centre-back position ahead of Dayot Upamecano and is even having his best output goalscoring wise having scored four in the Bundesliga this season.
