Man United Reject Loan Offer For Sancho But Erik Ten Hag Open To Permanent Sale
Manchester United have reportedly rejected a loan offer from Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.
That’s according to a recent report from the Daily Star, who claims the Bundesliga side have been trying to bring their former attacker back to the Signal Iduna Park Stadium in time for next season.
Interest in Sancho, 23, comes as little surprise. The Englishman has endured a poor two years at Old Trafford.
Despite being signed for a whopping £73m (Sky Sports), the 23-year-old has failed to live up to expectations, and although he showed glimpses of what he’s capable of at the back end of last season, his long-term future under Erik Ten Hag remains uncertain.
And that is echoed by these latest reports, which suggest the Dutchman is open to the possibility of selling his number 25 if a suitable offer arrives during the summer transfer window.
Tottenham Hotspur have been rumoured to be interested in signing the 23-year-old but it remains to be seen whether or not Daniel Levy will be able to meet United’s valuation.
