Manchester United Enquire For Frankfurt Striker Randal Kolo Muani
Having opened the door to a potential departure in a press conference while on France duty this week – “It’s my dream to play for the big clubs” – Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani could be in line for a summer move, with Paris Saint-Germain notably interested.
According to L’Équipe‘s issue today, Manchester United are also keeping an eye on the forward, having been linked during the January transfer window as well.
The Frenchman is ostensibly keen on a departure, although he will meet with the German club’s new manager Dino Toppmöller after the international break, with the latter looking to change his mind.
The Red Devils are not the only club to have formally expressed their interest – they are joined by PSG, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. In any case, a clearer picture on Kolo Muani’s future is expected to emerge after the current international break.
The former Nantes man has enjoyed a career-best season in his first campaign in the Bundesliga, with 21 goals and 17 assists in all competitions.
His form earned him first senior call-up for France in September of 2022, and he was included in the World Cup squad in December.
Kolo Muani scored his first goal for Les Bleus in the semi-finals against Morocco, before coming agonisingly close to scoring the winner in the final minutes of the final, only to see his shot kept out by a sensational Emiliano Martínez save.
