Manchester United ‘Make Improved Bid’ For Mason Mount
Manchester United have reportedly made an improved offer for Mason Mount.
The Athletic’s David Ornstein claims that a package worth up to £50m is on the table for the Chelsea midfielder.
But the report claims the Red Devils’ counterparts are seeking in the region of £65m to secure Mount’s departure.
However the Blues are not expected to stand in the way of the 24-year-old’s wishes to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Erik ten Hag’s side saw a reported £40m bid rejected out of hand last week after formalising their interest in signing Mount.
The former academy prospect is in the final 12 months of his current deal with the west London outfit.
