Premier League sides Newcastle United and Arsenal are interested in the possibility of signing Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund.
La Dea’s new star recently grabbed a hat-trick on his Denmark debut and caught global attention, having already impressed in Serie A so far in the ongoing campaign. While parts of the Danish media have linked him with a move to Manchester United, the Red Devils don’t find a mention in Italy – yet.
Marco Conterio reports that Newcastle and Arsenal are the two interested clubs in the Dane and both the clubs are looking to sign a striker in the summer.
Atalanta value him at nothing less than €40 million right now and a couple of Italian clubs are also keeping tabs on Højlund.
Those two clubs are Milan and Napoli. The Rossoneri could soon seek long-term replacements for Olivier Giroud and the Partenopei would likely look for replacements for Victor Osimhen.
In 23 Serie A appearances this season, Højlund has scored seven times while racking up two assists for La Dea.
