Noah was into racing from an early age, and finally, at the age of 13, he started racing Bandoleros at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In 2015, Gragson begin racing in the ARCA Racing Series with Mason Mitchell Motorsports, where he qualified eighth and finished in 14th place.
He participates in the NASCAR Cup Series on a full-time basis, piloting the Legacy Motor Club No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
Prior to this, he raced full-time for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series from 2017 to 2018, then for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series from 2019 to 2022.
On May 7, 2023, Gragson approached Ross Chastain about a racing incident in which they were involved in which Gragson smacked the outside wall shortly after placing 29th at Kansas.
A fist battle broke out between the riders after Gragson shoved Chastain, and the latter responded by punching him in the face.

Oran K. Gragson also holds the record for being the longest-serving mayor in the history of Las Vegas.
Scott Gragson was a businessman and a real estate agent who provided financial support for his son’s racing career.
However, in 2019, Scott was involved in a fatal car crash. He drank alcohol for about five hours at a charity golf event and drove his SUV, and crashed into a row of trees.
The accident killed Melissa Newton, a passenger in his car, and seriously injured two other passengers, one of whom sustained a traumatic brain injury.
Scott admitted to one count of driving under the influence of alcohol and one count of driving under the influence resulting in an accident.
As a result, in 2020, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eight to 20 years in prison.
