Al Ahli Saudi head coach Pitso Mosimane has offered to help SuperSport United mentor Gavin Hunt win the CAF Champions League.
In a Twitter conversation between two of the most successful coaches in the PSL, Hunt started by congratulating Mosimane for his coach of the month award.
And in return, Mosimane offered to host Hunt during the off-season and give him tips on how to win Africa’s premier club competition.
Hunt came close to winning the CAF Champions League with Kaizer Chiefs during the 2020-21 season but he was sacked despite reaching the semi-finals.

“Off-season, I will host you for lunch and plan for Caf Champions League,” Mosimane said in response to Hunt’s congratulatory message.
“I know you can win it [Champions League], why not? You have been in this tournament many years, and you understand it well. Just a courtesy lunch and a catch up meeting also,” added Mosimane.

As things stand, SuperSport United, under the watchful eye of Hunt, are in pole position to return to the CAF Champions League next season.
Matsatsantsa are currently second on the PSL log, but they will have to work harder to cement that spot as they are two points ahead of both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs.
