Real Madrid And Bayern Munich Tracking RB Leipzig Winger
Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are both tracking Dani Olmo as his contract situation at RB Leipzig drags on.
Olmo has been offered a new deal as his current contract expires in 2024 however, if he continues to stall it could force Leipzig to sell him this summer for relatively cheap.
Barcelona are said to be also interested in the 25-year-old but have other priorities at the moment.
The midfielder has missed parts of this season through injury having played 28 times in all competitions this season.
In the games he has played, Olmo has scored five goals and assisted nine as Leipzig attempts to qualify for the Champions League.
The 25-year-old could be the third major Leipzig player to leave in the summer with both Konrad Laimer (Bayern Munich) and Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea) set to leave at the end of the season.
In Olmo’s position are currently Dominik Szoboszlai and Emil Forsberg so it would be likely that Leipzig enter the market for a player of similar qualities to the Spaniard.
