Manchester United are one of quite a few Premier League clubs believed to be interested in Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia, according to a recent report.
It sounds like Levia will be in huge demand this summer, especially if Southampton go down this season – and we could help push them towards relegation by beating Ruben Selles’ side at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Football Insider claims the former Man City youngster has attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United – but the Premier League champions have a back-up option in his current deal.
That means City will have first refusal on Levia.
The 19-year-old will want to stay in the Premier League if the Saints go down, but he is unlikely to be a priority for any of the clubs mentioned. A deal is more likely if one of the clubs fail to land their top targets.
