‘The Premier League’s top 10 list of the all-time assist providers is dominated by Man United legends
Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bryune recently sneaked into the all-time charts of assist providers in the Premier League after playing a key role in his side’s title triumph.
The Belgian midfielder has been in fine shape for the Citizens since joining them in 2015 from Bundesliga side, Wolfsburg.
De Bruyne once again cemented his place in City’s history books as he climbed the Premier League’s all-time assist table.
According to Mirror UK, his assist on the final day of the 2021/22 season against Aston Villa took his tally to 86 assists in just 210 appearances.
Despite retiring in 2014, Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs is still way ahead of the pack and currently tops the charts with 162 assists.
That is nearly more than half what De Bruyne has accumulated in his seven-year spell at the Etihad.
The top 10 list features two other Man United icons – including David Beckham and Wayne Rooney.
Beckham, who currently sits 10th on the charts has 80 Premier League assists to his name, while Rooney’s 103 has him sitting third.
