Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bolster their squad this summer and have been linked with Adama Traoré
Tottenham Hotspur are being heavily linked with Adama Traoré once again.
Spurs were keen on signing the speedy Wolverhampton Wanderers winger in January but Traoré went out on loan to Barcelona.
With his loan coming to end in Spain, Spurs are rumoured to be keen on securing the services of the Wolves player.
SportsBible reported that Spurs boss, Antonio Conte, has a £150 million war chest for signings this transfer window and will is keeping an eye on Traoré.
Spurs were not willing to spend more than £15 million on the player in January and are unlikely to change their stance on how much they value him now.
Barcelona have the option to buy Traoré for £30 million once his loan deal expires but seem unlikely to do so.
Italian football journalist, Fabrizio Romano, noted that Traore’s future will be decided soon, Spurs Web confirmed.
“Barcelona won’t trigger the buy option clause for Adama Traoré. It was included into the loan deal from Wolves for €30m but Barca won’t spend big money on Adama as things stand. Traoré is out of contract in June 2023 with Wolves, so his future will be decided soon,” Romano said.
‘Adama Traore takes on Adama Traore in Barcelona vs A League All Stars match, with both players scoring‘
Barcelona’s travels across the world have served up a coincidence that proved rather amusing on the streets of social media.
The men from Catalonia took on the best players from Australia’s top division, the A-League All-Stars at the Accor Stadium in Sydney. The visitors won the match 3-2 courtesy of goals from Ousmane Dembele, Ansu Fati and Adama Traore, while Reno Piscopo and Adama Traore scored for the hosts.
