The former NFL cornerback, Vontae Davis, and his wife, Megan Harpe, have been married for over eight years after first encountering each other at a friend’s birthday party.

He played in the NFL as a cornerback for Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Indianapolis Colts.
His professional career began after the Miami Dolphins drafted Davis in the first round of the 2009 NFL draft.
The top three picks of that draft were Matthew Stafford, Jason Smith, and Tyson Jackson.
During his NFL career, Vontae featured twice in the Pro Bowl in 2014 and 2015.
Moreover, he was very athletic from a young age and played football at Dunbar High School.

The former football player Vontae Davis tied the knot with Megan Harpe in June 2015.
The couple first met back in Washington DC in July 2010 when Harpe was celebrating her friend’s birthday.

Vontae proposed to his future wife on Halloween 2013 during their pumpkin carving contest.

After two years of the proposal, the couple married in the beautiful St. Regis Bahia Beach in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.
Regarding her education, Megan Harpe graduated from Loyola University in 2011, majoring in political science and sociology.
After graduating, she worked in mental health but moved to Miami to live with Davis.

Arrested For DUI
The retired footballer was arrested on February 5, 2023, after driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, which resulted in a car crash.
When questioned by the Florida Highway Patrol, the cornerback could not even answer the questions properly.
Additionally, it was around 7:45 AM when Vontae slammed into the back of the pickup truck with his Tesla.
It was also reported that Davis had mixed two drinks during his time in the club, which resulted in his tragedy.
Furthermore, the authorities reported that the former Dolphins player had slurred speech, had bloodshot eyes, smelled strongly of alcohol, and could barely stay awake while being interviewed.
