AC Milan Open Talks With Villarreal Over Chukwueze And Teammate
- Serie A side resume talks with Villarreal over attacking duo.
AC Milan aren’t just in talks with Villarreal for their winger Samuel Chukwueze, but also his teammate Arnaut Danjuma. In fact, the Rossoneri are keen on reinforcing the attack just as they have with the midfield.
Milan have reached an agreement with AZ Alkmaar for Reijnders and while the midfield remains a priority, part of the focus will now be shifted to the attack. The right flank appears to be the first task, with the centre-forward role coming later
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan are in talks with Villarreal over both Samuel Chukwueze and Arnaut Danjuma. The Spanish side are still firm on their high demands for the Nigerian, set at over €25m, but the Dutchman could arrive on a loan.
Villarreal, in fact, have not said no to the loan hypothesis and Milan could thus perhaps close that negotiation quickly. It remains to be seen, then, if the Rossoneri will continue to pursue Chukwueze or if Danjuma will be the only on.
Danjuma is more of an all-rounder, able to play on both flanks and in the centre, meaning the addition of Chukwueze as well could be justified. Then again, as the report concludes, Milan are also interested in Mehdi Taremi for the attack and he would take the last Non-EU slot (ruling out Chukwueze).
