Haddad began to play at the age of five and turned professional at the age of 18 in 2014.
Additionally, in 2010, Haddad played the first event of her career on the ITF Circuit in Brazil, resulting in a victory in one doubles title.
In addition to that, Maia won two doubles titles on the ITF circuit and one single title in 2011.
Eventually, in 2013, she started to play her first WTA main draw at Florianopolis, reaching 2r and winning two singles titles on the ITF Circuit.
