CRISTIANO RONALDO TALKS ABOUT ERIK Ten HAG
Manchester United’s 21/22 season came to a sad end as the Red Devils failed to win any trophy for the fifth consecutive year. Man United also failed to qualify for the Champions League and they need to win their last game of the season to ensure direct qualification to Europa League.
Cristiano Ronaldo was by far Man United’s best player with stats of 24 goals and 3 assists in all competitions this season. Ronaldo was Man United’s Player of the Month 4 times and also won the Premier League Player of the Month Award twice.
Despite Cristiano’s incredible season he failed to lift the Red Devils to any silverware. This was Ronaldo’s first season without a trophy since 2009/10 season. The Portuguese is accustomed to winning and he would definitely want a better next season.
With the new boss Erik Ten Hag taking over at Man United next season, the fans and the players do have hope of a better next season.
Cristiano gave an interview where he discussed the arrival of the new Man United Boss:
“I know that he has done a fantastic job at Ajax, and that he is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time.”
“Things must change the way he wants. If he does well, all of Manchester United will be successful, so I wish him well. We are all happy and excited [about his arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well. We have to believe that next year we can win titles.”
Cristiano is ready to work with Erik Ten Hag which also gives the hint that the Portuguese might stay at Old Trafford for one more season.
