Darvin Ham Sr., an American professional former basketball player, is the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA).
Ham was selected as a free agent by the Denver Nuggets on October 1, 1996, and later traded for Jerome Allen to the Pacers in February 1997.
Darvin played college basketball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. After that, he played in the NBA for eight seasons, from 1996 to 2005.
He played 417 games and averaged 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds throughout eight seasons.
