DAVID SEAMAN SPEAK ON ONE ARSENAL PLAYER THAT MAKES HIM ‘WORRY’ A LITTLE BIT- ‘UNSECURE’.
Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has been discussing the weaknesses in Arsenal’s team and Nuno Tavares.
The Portuguese full-back has been a regular starter for the Gunners in recent weeks after Kieran Tierney was sidelined with injury, and it’s fair to say he’s had a few shaky displays.
He was absolutely shocking against Crystal Palace, and although he scored against Manchester United last weekend, he was defensively suspect.
Seaman says that Tavares is a player that worries him in this Arsenal team.
WHAT’S BEEN SAID?
Seaman spoke about Arsenal’s squad.
“Tomiyasu looks like he’s going to be back now. With Partey, was it a thigh strain that he had? You have to be proper careful with those, but if he is back in training that’s great, but we’ll have to wait and see,” Seaman said,
“The left side is still unsecure I would say, as much as he likes to get forward, Tavares still makes me worry at the back a little bit.”
COULD COST ARSENAL
Arsenal are in a great position to get into the top four this season, but you can’t help but feel that if anyone is going to cost Arsenal in this next few weeks it’s Tavares.
It’s becoming more and more evident with each passing game that Tavares is a player who can be got at, and teams will try to exploit that in the coming matches.
At this point of the season, one mistake could cost Arsenal a spot in next season’s Champions League, and sadly, Tavares is more than capable of making that type of costly error.
