ERLING HAALAND’S BIOLOGICAL FATHER REVEALS HOW HAALAND TRIES TO COPY CRISTIANO RONALDO
Erling Haaland completed his big money move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City. The Norwegian striker will play for Ronaldo’s city rivals Manchester City in the Premier League next season. Haaland has scored 28 goals this season with an impressive 21 goals in 23 Bundesliga games.
There was a lot of interest in Erling Haaland from Spanish Giants Real Madrid but the striker chose English club Manchester City. Manchester City are already a power house in England and with Haaland coming in, they’ll be an extreme force to reckon with.
Erling Haaland’s father has revealed how Haaland takes inspiration from Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo despite playing for a struggling Manchester United side has managed to score 24 goals this season.
Ronaldo has made a lot of sacrifice in his career and the fact he’s still going strong at this age, shows the worth of it.
Haaland’s father Alf-Inge Haaland in an interview with Daily star talked about Haaland copying the Man United star.
“Erling made all the sacrifices, leaving home at 16 to move to Molde and he is a lot more professional than I was.”
“He was told a story by Patrice Evra about a lunch he had with Ronaldo and Cristiano had fish, nothing else. Erling now tries to do the same things because Ronaldo is still at the top of the game so it shows the value of doing the right things.”
Haaland vs Ronaldo would be an interesting battle to see next season that’s if Ronaldo stays at Manchester United.
The Portuguese star is rumored to a move away from Old Trafford after the red devils failed to secure Champions League Football.
