Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Siphiwe Tshabalala will NOT venture into coaching when he retires from football.
Prominently known as Shabba, the 38-year-old said he has other ways of contributing to the game apart from being a qualified coach.
As things stand, Shabba is doing the most in helping disadvantaged communities through his Foundation, and he made mention of the impact he made during Covid-19.

“I am also giving back to football in that platform. I love to give back to the sport that gave me so much in life. I am busy with my foundation in Soweto and we also do programmes across the country,” Tshabalala told reporters.
“Recently, we assisted in KwaZulu-Natal when there were floods and also delivered parcels during Covid-19, where we donated blankets and other essentials.”
“We also donate school shoes to kids who come from poor areas,” added Tshabalala.

Meanwhile, Tshabalala has dismissed any talk of retirement from playing football despite fast-approaching his 40th birthday.
Tshabalala was speaking to journalists at KONKA in Soweto on Thursday where Nedbank Cup and its ambassadors had an event.
Now, Tshabalala, who hasn’t had a team since leaving AmaZulu at the end of the 2020-21 season, said he’s at a level where he can say he wants to make a comeback to football.
However, Shabba, as he’s affectionately known, will not just take anything and everything that comes his way for the sake of playing football.
“I am at a level where I can say I want to go and play here. I would not want to play for the sake of playing,” said Tshabalala.
“I am not in a situation where I take everything that comes my way. I am not desperate. When I retire, I will tell you.
“I am still training, a lot, and I still play matches once a week. I am very active and still fit to play. I still love football and love playing the sport,” added Tshabalala.
