Kaizer Chiefs Transfer Target Continues Incredible PSL Run

One of Kaizer Chiefs’ reported transfer targets continued his incredible scoring form in the PSL.

Stellenbosch FC striker Iqraam Rayners has reportedly caught the attention of the Glamour Boys.

Since returning to Stellenbosch FC, the attacker has been in scintillating form!

Rayners has nine goals in nine games so far for Steve Barker’s side.

The 27-year-old attacker took his game to the next level on Saturday night after grabbing TWO goals and an assist against Maritzburg United.

Rayners is doing his reputation no harm at all and could soon find himself in the colours of a ‘bigger team’ if he continues with this form.

WHY KAIZER CHIEFS TARGET LEFT ‘JOBURG’ CLUB

Rayners abruptly left SuperSport United at the halfway mark of the ongoing season…

“I hear that statement, but for me, if a player is not happy he must go. That’s it. Why keep an unhappy player? No hard feelings, he [Rayners] wanted to leave and that was it.” – SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt said as quoted by SowetanLive

Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt is now aggressively building a strong squad.

In other news, Orlando Pirates fans went into panic mode after talisman Thembinkosi Lorch wasn’t named in their squad for Saturday’s clash against Cape Town City.

Lorch recently returned from a lengthy injury layoff, and made an immediate impact at the club.

His absence however has since been explained by head coach Jose Riveiro who confirmed the diminutive winger is injured.

The extent of the injury doesn’t seem to be too perturbing according to the Spanish coach.

BUCS STAR’S ABSENCE EXPLAINED

According to local publication IdiskiTimes, Lorch suffered a hip injury in training.

“We hoping to see him back as soon as possible and actually I think it’s a minor thing but it happened too close to the game so we didn’t have a margin to solve it.” the Orlando Pirates coach said as quoted by the publication.

“S yeah, we’re happy with him, he’s finding joy during the games and during the week [at training] and we all benefit from that obviously.”

Orlando Pirates XI: Chaine, Sibisi, Maela, Mtethwa, Mako, Hotto, Timm, Monare, Saleng, Dlamini, Dzvukamanja.

Subs: Mpontshane, Monyane, Motshwari, Ndlondlo, Makaringe, Makhaula, Makgopa, Erasmus, Marou.
