Kim Min-Jae To Sign For Bundesliga Side Bayern Munich
- Napoli defender Kin Min-Jae To Sign For Bayern Munich
Napoli centre-back and South Korea international Kim Min-jae (26) looks set to snub interest from PSG and Premier League clubs to join Bayern Munich, according to a report from RMC Sport.
The Serie A winner will put pen to paper over a five-year contract tying him to the Bundesliga outfit until 2028.
The outlet understand that talks are at an advanced stage between Kim Min-jae and Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga champions and Napoli may strike an agreement over a transfer fee that will be slightly higher than the player’s €47m release clause.
Kim Min-jae will reportedly earn €17m per year with Bayern. Should the deal materialise, the South Korean’s agents are in for a windfall estimated at €15m.
Bayern Munich had been in the market for a centre-back following the uncertainty surrounding the futures of France internationals Lucas Hernandez (27) and Benjamin Pavard (27).
The 2018 World Cup winners with Les Bleus are both entertaining the prospect of leaving the Bundesliga champions, with whom they are under contract until 2024.
